Rebecca Burgess did this amazing comic strip a while back that really tackles the concept of the autism spectrum and dismantles the ideas of rating people on "functioning" scales. Highy recommended reading.
This TEDTalk is fascinating. This #actuallyautistic scholar discusses the importance of neurodivergent and neurotypical people living in harmony and realizing each other's strengths and uniqueness. Sounds a lot like what we try to do at Chiptunes 4 Autism.
